Vintage 1980’s Vancouver Designer Katanya Koly modernist earrings.
These fantastic clip on earrings are made from hand cut, lightly hammered, high polished raw brass. The tear drop shape surprisingly does not point downwards off the lobe but instead up and out as if they are a shield on the lower half of the ear. Due to the nature of raw brass, over time these will develop a dark and rich patina. This is to be expected and enjoyed. The last photo in the series shows one earring with the patina next to the other that has been polished so you can see the difference. These come with an excellent polishing cloth so that you may polish them back up to their lighter selves whenever you like.
